Little Big House

San Ramon, CA — 2026

Little Big House is a site-specific public art installation by Roberto Behar and Rosario Marquardt of R&R Studios, installed at the newly developed Heritage Park in San Ramon, California.

Designed as a colorful, oversized playhouse, the structure functions as an interactive sculptural environment — a space meant to be explored, walked through, and inhabited. With integrated seating and a shaded canopy, the piece operates as both artwork and gathering space, inviting visitors to engage directly with the form.

Engineered Artworks supported the project from early schematic design through technical design, fabrication, finishing, and installation, translating the concept into a fully realized structure. The project included coordination of transportation logistics and the use of heavy equipment for final placement on site.

Installed as a central feature within Heritage Park, Little Big House serves as a visual anchor for the new greenspace, bringing a playful and architectural presence to the public landscape.
