Daisy Lane Portal
Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas, NV, 2026
Daisy Lane Portal is a large-scale immersive installation designed and fabricated by Engineered Artworks for EDC, one of the largest music festivals in the world.
Commissioned by Insomniac, the structure serves as a monumental entry experience within the festival grounds, a vibrant, high-energy environment designed to welcome and move hundreds of thousands of attendees through the space.
Spanning approximately 90 feet wide and 39 feet tall, the portal combines structural steel fabrication with sculptural surface treatments, integrating CNC-milled foam, hard-coated finishes, painted elements, and embedded LED lighting. Overscale floral forms define the structure, with petals reaching up to 8 feet in length, creating a dynamic, immersive landscape of color, light, and movement.
Designed for both daytime presence and nighttime activation, the installation transforms as lighting conditions shift, becoming a luminous focal point within the larger festival environment.
Fabricated and installed by Engineered Artworks, Daisy Lane Portal exemplifies the studio’s expertise in large-scale event fabrication, immersive environments, and high-impact temporary installations.
