Sean Orlando is an installation artist and community organizer with an interest in collaborative and immersionary large-scale sculptural installation projects. He is a founding member of Kinetic Steam Works, co-founder of the Five Ton Crane Arts Group and principle artist at Engineered Artworks. Sean’s most recent collaborative group projects include the Steampunk Tree House, Raygun Gothic Rocketship and The Nautilus submarine art car.

Lead Artist/ Designer- Steampunk Tree House- a site-specific group sculpture project created in 2007. The Tree House has been permanently installed in Milton, Delaware at the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.
Lead Artist- The Raygun Gothic Rocketship project- a site-specific group sculpture project currently on temporary display at Pier 14 on the Embarcadero, San Francisco. The Raygun Gothic Rocketship is 40 feet tall and weighs 15,000lbs. An interactive and immersive piece inspired by 1940’s science fiction and created in collaboration in David Shulman and Nathaniel Taylor with over 70 Bay Area artists and volunteers.
Lead Artist/ Creative Director- The Nautilus submarine art car- a Five Ton Crane Arts Group private commission.
The Nautilus is a land-based submarine art car inspired by Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
